What sort of books do I write?

I’m often asked the question ‘what sort of books do you write? – but the answer isn’t simple.

I’ve written picture books for very young children. I’ve written mystery stories and stories about danger. I’ve written books for schools which help children learn to read. And then there’s longer novels for teenagers. Stories dealing with deeper themes. Revenge. Loneliness. Bullying. Love. Death.

Some stories are gentle. Some are rough and raw. The best way to show you ‘the sort of books I write’ is to lay them out, and let you click your way through them.

See for yourself what sort of books I write, and perhaps help me answer the question...
